References

I have been a member of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) for many years. This Association allows me on one hand to reach my goal of life long learning by its great offer of training sessions for translators.  On the other hand, it helps me to get in touch with other linguistic professionals. I also refer to the BDÜ when calculating prices for translation projects.

Confidentiality is essential for me and my business.  This is why I refrain from displaying any of my clients' details online.  I both work with agencies and direct clients.  If you are interested in any of my previous projects please send your inquiry via email.

Tools

  • As modern translator I work with CAT tools (Computer Assisted Translation). These tools support the translation process by providing translation memories, term banks and glossaries. The client profits from these CAT tools in receiving more consistent translations and a general quality increase.
  • I currently work wih the following tools:

  • Trados Studio 2011 and Trados 2007
  • Multiterm 2011
  • other client specific CAT and QA tools
